The Prices of products【 English Corner】

No matter what type of product you sell, the price you charge your customers or clients will have a direct effect on the success of your business.

Before setting a price for your product, you have to know the costs of running your business. If the price for your product or service doesn’t cover costs, your cash flow will be cumulatively negative, you’ll exhaust your financial resources, and your business will ultimately fail.

“Food producers also face large losses on perishable and nutritious food as buyers have become limited and consumption patterns shift. Though food insecurity is by and large not driven by food shortages, disruptions to the supply of agricultural inputs such as fertilizers, seeds or labor shortages could diminish next season’s crop,” it said.
“If farmers are experiencing acute hunger, they may also prioritize buying food today over planting seeds for tomorrow, raising the threat of food shortages later on,” the institution added.

“One of the largest cost factors in any food is the labor cost because the agri-food sector is very labor intensive — you need labor at every stage, from farming to retailing,” Bhuyan said. “So any food that requires a specialized or large labor force to harvest or handle or process, like vegetables, or requires major transportation logistic support, is likely to see a gradual rise in price until the crisis is over.”“任何食品中最大的成本因素之一就是劳动力成本,因为农业食品部门的劳动密集型-从农业到零售的每个阶段都需要劳动力。” Malone suggested consumers may see a similar increase in prices across the board next month. So long as trade restrictions do not become problematic, I would anticipate that we will see the next CPI prices to represent a similar increase to the recent price data,” he said. One item to watch is garlic, since it is largely imported from China,” he said, further explaining that whether garlic prices rise or fall may be indicative of potential long-term price changes.

1.Spending Without a Plan

If you don’t have a monthly budget, your money will disappear, and you won’t know where it went. You’ll be like the average American: broke. Too many people live on more than they make and use credit cards to cover the difference. But when you have a plan in place to live on less than you make and save for a rainy day, you’re ahead of the game.

2. Paying for Convenience

I’m as guilty as anyone of running through the drive-thru at Chick-fil-A because it’s easy (and also, like, so great). But when we’re paying for convenience all the time, we’re letting money slip between our fingers. So, stop and take the time to consider the opportunity cost of all those waffle fries!

3. Spending Without Keeping TrackLosing track of the money you’ve spent or payments you’ve scheduled will eventually come back to bite you, so let’s break this money habit ASAP. Don’t worry, you probably don’t need to whip out a pencil and go to town on your checkbook ledger. That is . . . if you even have a ledger. Thanks to technology, there’s no excuse not to track your spending.
