It’s an old cliche that we all know and understand, but to what extent do you really apply it in your business? Be honest with yourself, how much is your time worth?
How Much Is Your Time Worth?
If you were on an overbooked flight, how much would it take for you to take a flight the next day? ¥500? ¥1200? ¥1500?
If you want to buy a mobile phone to play games, you need to pay ¥6000 which you will glady accetp.
But sometimes it makes you feel bad about making you pay for your time.
Why are some people’s time worthless?
They’re not good at hitting deadlines, and they have trouble getting other people to hit deadlines or do what the team needs them to do. While there are many issues underneath that, one of the key factors is simply this: if you don’t value your time, why should others? Others value your time exactly as you do.
