● The most effective way to ensure success in classes — learning and getting good grades — is to prepare early and often. Prepare for the semester and you’ll be off to a great start. So, how do you start the semester right? Here are some tips.
如果想要在课堂上更好地吸收学习内容、拿到更好的成绩，最有效的方法就是提前并时时做好准备。提前准备可以让你更好地迎接新学期。那么，我们又应该怎么做才能更好的迈进新学期呢？以下是一些小建议。
● Mentally Prepare 做好心理准备
Get your head in the right place. The first day and week of classes can be overwhelming with new lists of reading assignments, papers, exams, and presentations. Take the time to map out your semester. Write down all classes, due dates, exam dates in your calendar. Think about how you will organize your time to prepare and get it all done. Plan time off and time for fun. By mentally preparing for the semester ahead you put yourself in the position to excel.
提前为新学期做好心理准备。新学期刚开始，或许你就会面临着一长串的作业、论文、考试、展示的清单。花点时间好好规划你的这一个学期。把所有的课程、相关的截止日期、考试时间等标在你的日历上，并安排一些娱乐放松的时间。通过提前规划整个学期可以让你对接下来的时间有一个心里预期，助你顺利度过新学期。
● Be optimistic 保持乐观的心态
Before you step back into the classroom, take a positive inventory of your strengths, skills and best traits, along with the goals that you are working towards and those that you have already reached. Write them down somewhere accessible so you can reignite your reasons to be optimistic in times of need.

Nothing beats a fresh working space. If there is a cupboard or bulletin board that needs sprucing up, do it. It won’t take much time and the task will renew your sense of promise and potential.

The voice of school opening is spreading every hole and corner. As a matter of fact, it is not impressing for acdemic postgraduates, especially research in biology, medicine and so on, to get to know the school opening. Because these postgraduates didn’t begin a vacation, they don’t know about the date of this new start indeed. Nonetheless, they still adjust their state to the new start. Draw up a plan and restart while introspecting what they have done, persisting with efforts in the new term.
